I'm interested - except I hope there will be more options than just the fine duplex.

Also comes with fire dot duplex, fire dot4 metric duplex, illuminated B&C big Game, and in both 44mm and 50mm objectives. Specs are pretty much the same, but the illuminated reticles, and the 50mm will weigh in at app 20.7 oz.

Keep in mind that these have just begun to ship and all of the reticle options MAY not be available.

No way it has 75' FOV on 3x power
So they have begun to ship?

+1! That would be double the low end FoV of a 2.5-8 VX3.

Around a grand I think, but not for sure.

Right now they cost about $1,100.00 which is down right cheap compared to the tactical version. Good thing it's only money.

my Z6 1.7-10 has 75' @ 1.7x

no way leup has it at 3x

5.4in sure ain't much mounting space for a scope that large. powdr
the 2-12 model has 57 feet on the low end, so 75 can't be right. This is the scope I have been most interested in. Doesn't it have more MOA in one turn of the turret also?? I also wonder if the other reticle options are available at the custom shop like the TMR reticle.

another thing to note is they shortened up the eye relief which I think it is a great thing, I know some will not think so but for me personally I don't need all that eye relief on my guns. yeah its great on a big boomer like a 375 H&H but then again I will not be putting on a scope with that much power.

The 2-12 has 20MOA per turn of the CDS zero stop dial. I'd guess this one is the same.

These ain't happening or they would already be here. Something had to go wrong with this scope or we would have heard "official" word on WTF.

I have been saying this for quite some time but people dog piled me. its been nearly 2 years since this scope was announced but its not made it to production. they have to be having problems with something about it. the other thing is if you look at leupold for the past 15-20 years the scopes externally have all looked the same had the same magnification ranges, focused the same and I suspect had the same erector system. The lenses and coatings have been the only thing thats evolved with leupold over the years. the vx 6 is a totally new scope, FF eye piece, 6:1 zoom, it looks way different from the outside than anything leupold has put out. maybe that is it??
