Are Talley Lightweight scope mounts the better mounts for a Montana???

Yea. It's all I use on Kimbers. Lows work with anything from 6x42 to 3.5-10x40.
Very curious about this myself. I just picked up a Montana yesterday and am trying to decide between the Talley's and Leupold dual dovetails.
I have the Talley's on my Montana, good mounts.
They worked on my .25-06.
They are the only choice for me. Have used the lows on 2 84M's and 3 84L's so far and couldn't be happier.
Get em. Simple, tough, and light. Perfect match for the Montana.
