Here they are, bluetooth binoculars. These can't amount to much, and I certainly don't plan on getting one.

Cheesy as these things look, I think they might offer some sort of a window into optics future development however. Just thought the first step in this direction might be a little more...well serious. I say future development because I tend to think that modern day developments of the glass within a tube binoculars may well have peaked. I for one don't know if normal human eyes can use much better than what we have at the top now. While I'm sure that the standard optics designs will continue to "improve", I'm just not convinced the improvement will amount to too much.

Added features along the lines of these "things" will likely start to show up I'm thinking.

Now that I think about this a bit, Leica offered the Leica Vector about 10 years ago or so. Kind of the same idea. Then an outfit called Vectronix or something like that offered the same thing. Smartphone tech has come a long way since then,
