I have a chance to pick up a new pair of 10X30 Nikon EDGs very reasonably.

Everything I read about these bincs regards them as good as big three and on par with the swarovisions and others.
Big talk, I know, but some I've read from actually own own both brands, so there is no bias.
Nikon is proud of 'em with price tags on par with the swarovisions.
A concern for me is resale. It's always nice to know that with swarovski, and to a slightly-lesser degree Zeiss and Leica, resale is excellent if the glass is well-cared for.

Any EDG users? What is your take?
