In that picture, what is the knob located on the left side of the scope/elevation turret for?

I think that is picture of the 3.5-10x44 RD...Red Zone. Not the one he is talking about.

What is the total MOA up down,left to right for this scope??

That is the stock image from Meopta's Web Site page for this scope which evidently is incorrect as it shows side focus. I have contacted Meopta for a correct image

How do these compare to a leupold vx-3 3.5x10x50 ? I am in the market for a new scope since I sold my za5i minox that was not as good as I had hoped. So I am a little hesitant to buy anything but leupold .

The Meopta Meopro is a direct equal to a Zeiss Conquest, which IMO would be slightly superior to a VX-3

Total travel is 68 MOA, so 34 from mechanical center in elevation and windage.

I bought one of these from Doug a couple weeks ago and have been very impressed with the optical clarity of them. I would recommend these to guys for a hunting scope. Especially at the price he has on them.

I think Meopta makes great stuff. Wonder if it is an etched reticle like the Conquest, or is it now wire?

How do these compare to a Minox ZA 5 I was told they were superior to a vx-3 as well but it was not.

the vx3 is optically better than the meopro?

Doug, It would be great if they could put the #4 reticle from their 3X9X42 in these. I love a #4 with a small center section. It's great for low light when the thick section is close to the center and even a small thin section works great for targets.

I think a lot of guys would like it.

At this time they are building this only with the Plex, the #4 may a possibility down the line perhaps

The Meopta #4 leaves a lot to be desired. The thick portions are too far apart. The center section is too fine.

A 4x32 and a 2.5x20 would be nice, especially with a #4.

Same black donut around the edges just like a Conquest as well?

Conquest has gotta be the most overrated scope on the internet......

there is some tunneling on the 3.5-10x44 meopro. its annoying but not enough t make me get rid of the scope

The #4 on the 3X9X42 is not the same as the #4 on the 3.5-10X44. The Thick portions are much closer on the 3X9X42. I don't mind a fine center as long as the thick part is close enough to use in low light without having to see the fine center. In that case a fine center is good for fine targets in good light.

I'm a little confused......going to the link for the CL Special, the drop down menu shows a plex, #4, and BDC ????
