I'm wanting to scope my new/old Springfield 187J(Savage 6) .22...going to mount a 4x K4. The question is, do I just mount my spare scope(always keep a Classic K4 in the safe) or do I get an old steel tube Weaver for my cool 60s 22?
Found this on GB think it will be just the ticket... Weaver C4
super nice and a good price on that one. Is it NIB?
The C4 is a 3/4 inch scope. You need mounts for that diameter if you go that way.

If a 0.75 dia scope fills the bill, I would suggest the Weaver J models over the C, D, or G. A 29S would be fine too. They will be pricey.
I don't it's NIB, but it does come with the original tip off mount. Will be petty sweet on the 187 I think.
