My uncle has a 378 weatherby for 30 years and shot allot of moose he has a bushnell elite 2.5x10 and has had good luck with it. But know he feels like it isn't good enuf, he wants to buy a 460 weather for a grizzly bear hunt in bc. he's not sure what scope would be good to withstand the recoil of the 460, he dose not use a muzzle brake my uncles got a 1000$ limit for the scope

AussieGunWriter is the guy you want to talk to. I believe he actually shot out a barrel on a .460, if that tells you anything.

Wow! I wonder how many 460Wby barrels in the history of the round have actually been shot out? I bet it's a very low number. I know I wouldn't want to do it!!
