anybody know where to get rings or insert from 30mm
thanx i was hoping for weaver style but this looks like might be only option
Never heard of 28mm scope rings or tube, but twenty years or so ago, 26mm scope tubes and rings were quite common on European made scopes and mounts. Back then, most of the big scope mount manufacturers offered 26mm rings. I've owned and used 26mm rings made by Redfield, Buehler and I'm pretty sure by Leupold. I came across a set of 26mm Redfield rings in an old "goodie" box within the last year or two. I sold them at a gun show or in the classifieds, don't remember which.
TT
Russian scopes were using 26.5mm on their Mosin's

don't know strength at that thickness, option to get someone to make 30mm inserts or get 1 inch inserts and machine them to 28mm

I would think your best option would be to have a machinist mill out a set of 1" rings.
$400???
felt it was better getting something then waiting and not get anything. The glass is very sharp and clean
Do you still have this need?
