The rebate is for any dealer, any VX3. So hopefully we can add the rebate to some sales on VX3s. Local dealer has 4.5-14 40mm for 499, so this would make it 399 but naturally they are sold out. I am hoping Cabelas has some coupon for 100 off 500 like they used to have. Right not I only have a 10 dollar off coupon at Cabelas.

Whittakers has Sightron S1 3x9x40 scopes for $79 right now. I have no idea how long the sale runs. These are great scopes for the money. I have one on a CVA single shot 44 magnum, and I am going to pick up 2-3 more for some of my rimfires. If you google reviews, you'll see that it is a very well respected scope in its class.

I am really thinking it would be great to get 10% off a Nightforce 2.5-10 NXS MOAR lit. Generally Optics planet has 10% off deals. Do you guys think a 10% off deal on Nightforce is looming for Blackfriday?
I can shop "locally" at Europtic or Cove Creek, but if they give a discount, I lose it in 6% PA tax. So ordering a 1800 dollar scope online saves 100 bucks in tax. Put a black friday 10% discount on top of the tax savings and it is 300 bucks or so.

Not sure of the sale price last year, but the regular price of my 3x15x42 was about $700. The sale price was likely $50 TO $100 less.

You like the 3-15? Usually gets lesser review than the two HD variables by a good margin

Academy has the 4.5-14x40 CDS on Clearance at my store(Wolfchase Memphis)for $499... With the $100 rebate that makes it $399... Hard to beat...

Don't know if it's already been covered so far as I didn't read every post but Cabelas has Leupy VX2 3-9s with CDS for $250 right now….Best deal I've seen in quite some time

cabelas has the zeiss hd5 3-15x50mm z800 for $599.00, if anybody has interest in a scope like that! Normal price is $1145 or so.

Snagged a Bushnell AR Optics 3-9x40 for $89.99 today from Walmart's online Black Friday deal.

I have two of the same in 4.5-18x40 and really like them for AR platforms. The eyepiece is too big for most bolt actions.

Just got a VX-3 3.5-10 CDS for 399. Then minus $100 rebate minus $65 in points. I think I did pretty good.

Unless you're a knob turner, and even then, I think you did great. (so did I)

I'm a knob turner too, but I've got a rifle that doesn't get used all that much and I only shoot 1 load in. I think a CDS would work well for that one, and I don't have to mess with anything other than just twisting that dial.

Optics planet has 12% off scopes. Code is 12bfrdy. It did not work on
Nightforce.
