Alright so I am alittle slow. I have been waiting to replace my current RF with a Leica 1600B and was doing some research on another forum and it was mentioned that Sig was introducing a RF. Has anybody seen or used one or heaven forbid own one?
In another thread someone questioned the Sig Whiskey line of scopes. It was determined that they came off the same production lines in the Philippines and/or China as Vortex. That said, IMHO Sig is simply re-branding existing, off-shore optics - scopes, RFs, etc.
I asked this same question a few weeks ago and was chastised. I don't think they really make them. I would buy a set and try them if they did.
I picked one up today, will post my thoughts on it once I get a chance to mess with it
I compared it in store to the Leupold RX-1200i tbr with DNA and the Leica CRF 1600-b and I liked the Sig's display the best so we'll see

Do let us know if they are the next best thing to a virtual condom . . .
This was one of the few reviews I found and it helped push me to go ahead and buy it

Did you get the 1600 or 2000?
Very interesting...I wasnt aware it was even being shipped yet. Do let us know how it works out.
I haven't had a lot of time to play with this yet but I have been very impressed with it when I have used it. It ranges so fast it's not even funny and it's accurate. I ranged a grain bin at 1732 yards and have ranged deer out to 950 yards.
I'm pleased
Ranged a group of trees at 2300 yards tonight. Compared it with the Leupold 1200i and an older Leica 1200 and it ranged quicker and farther every time. It ranged trees and barns that the others wouldn't.
The Kilo 2000 is pretty badass
Where did you pick yours up Drummond?
Sportsmans Warehouse in Colorado
I checked the SW in N MS, they are in stock priced at $499.99.
You're going to make me return my Leupold and I haven't even used it yet.....

That's exactly what I did. I took back my Leupold 1200i with all the bells and whistles and picked this one up. I'm glad I did
I'm getting my own christmas present this year. I hope it is what I have been wanting. All I have been getting for christmas the past few years is a big lump of coal.
Bounced this off a group of trees. It ranges almost instantly
Looks like I will go pick one up!
Drummond,
You talked me into one, just ordered mine.

Ordered one from savinglots.com for $406 including shipping.
Well poop.
My Kilo 2000 just arrived. Unboxed it, really nice looking unit, appears to be well made. Flipped through the manual, it's set-up to use right out of the box. Popped the battery in, tried to range - doesn't work.
Tried to go through various modes, etc, - doesn't range.
This one's going back, probably wasn't set-up right from the factory. No big deal, I still have a serviceable Vortex 1000. Hopefully the next one will be right!

Bummer,
Mine works just fine. But then I did ops check it before it got wrapped and put under the Christmas tree.
