Anybody figured out what the difference in these are?
Just talked to local Leupold rep, says they are still assembled in the US, he wasnt willing to give out anymore info
Maybe they'll announce the new line with the New Year....
There are some available on Gunbroker, but no further info other than the new model designation
Have to keep an eye on these. Probably know more with shot show?
My LGS says they will have the same eyepiece as the VX2.. No locking focus ring.
I suspect that he is correct.

Maybe made here by "I"llegals?????
This new leupold vx3i is cheaper than the vx3 current line now on closeout , but is supposed to be much better with better lense coatings for clarity and low light . they dropped a lot of the recent line of scopes to be able to sell at the new low prices , (wow) good or bad what do you think? I kind of smell china
I wonder which scopes they are dropping?
My hope is they still have gloss finish as an option. I've been trying to purchase a gloss VX-3 3.5-10x40 duplex (might consider B&C reticle) for a few weeks with no luck. I've only seen a couple for sale but thought the prices were too high all things considered (clearance/discontinued sales). I guess we'll find out in a few days at shot show.
From what I saw there appears to be no gloss for the VX-3i.
Does not appear there will be any AOs available, at least initially. Additionally, all SKUs are listed in only matte finish, no gloss or silver. My suspicion is that more variations will be offered later this year or at least in the future.
