Does anyone know IF Leupold ever made the VX-2 4-12 AO with a CDS in SILVER color? They don't now, and one of my grandsons wants one for his Montana.

I don't want to look for a unicorn.

I do know that he can buy a non CDS and send it to the pro shop to add the CDS.

I've never seen a silver VX-2 with AO, and my employer is a very large Leupold dealer. Doesn't mean they didn't make one though.

I don't think so. I used to do the Leupold custom shop orders for OP in my past life...and actually did some of those because of it not being factory.

As you already mentioned, the custom shop can do the switch, wasn't too long a turnaround time either as I remember.
