Does anyone have real field experience with any of these thermal devices?
For example using it to find wounded game animals.

I have a FLIR LS-X and it's an amazing device, but at a cost 3-4x the LTO's street price. I'm anxious to do a side by side. On paper Leupold's LTO is a lot of bang for the buck.

I'd like to know too, but if I buy anything i wantt it moutable and to come with some crosshairs in it... things are too expensive to be standalone accessories...

This makes them more expensive.

Does that mean you want to use it as a infra-red sight and shoot after legal shooting hours? .
