I have been wanting to try a Bushnell LRHS, and recently picked up a 3-12x44 on sale. When I recieved it, I noticed that when I pull out the windage knob to reset it to zero, it clicks when I turn it while pulling out on the knob. Is this normal? On other scopes when you lift the knob to reset, there is no clicking.

If it isn't normal, I would like to address it with Bushnell before I mount it. I hope it is normal, because I really like what I see so far.

Thanks for your help,
Steve
Bump for Sunday
Wish I still had one to check for you.
Thanks for the consideration. I take it by your response you must like them. The only thing I see wrong with this scope, so far, is I'm going to want another.

I would rather talk to someone here, than Bushnell Customer Service. I tried to ask someone there some questions, last week, before I bought the scope. Unfortunately, I knew more about his product than he did, and I had never touched one.

Thanks again,
Steve
Wally,

So when you pull the windage knob all the way out, and spin it to rotate to zero, it still clicks?
Yes, it still clicks. I'm concerned the windage is still being changed, even with the knob pulled out.

If it's still "clicking" I would think that it is adjusting. Not to be a douche but you're sure that you are pulling it all the way?
I am pulling it out about 1/8" or so. I haven't got too physical with it. Does that sound far enough?
No, it doesn't. It's got quite a bit of travel, I would say a quarter inch or more.
Ok....I just pulled and twisted on it fairly hard, and it popped loose. blush crazy I guess it was a little stuck or something. It seems to be working fine now.

My bad. Thanks to everyone for their help!

I just used the same scope to me a 1309 yard hit with one sighter round.

Pretty decent scope.
It is a great scope. I just sold two so I could move to the SWFA 3-9 with slightly less weight and lower cost.
Thanks to all for the great information. It is my first FFP scope. I am looking forward to giving it a run. It mounted into low rings perfectly. So far, it seems to have good eye relief and a forgiving eye box. My research found very little problem or criticism with it. I can't wait to get out and put some rounds down range.

Thanks again to all,
Steve
