No idea but if you want one, April 15th might be worth waiting for.

I just got my 6x from the Black Friday sale. I find it hard to believe they only receive 3 shipments a year on these.

Typical SWFA I guess from my experiences.

Wow I placed 2-3 different orders during the BF sale and had all my stuff within 3 weeks. I had my first batch of scopes in before the sale was over. Like the 3-9's so well I ordered another one while the sale was going on.

Those are $450 during the BF sale, right? That's just crazy.
Posted By: Kaleb Re: SS 3-9X42 hd - 03/25/17
Yes $450. I ordered 2 got those in liked them so much I ordered another one. I like them a bunch.

I'm not a Leupold basher at all but I sold 2 Leupold's for enough or close enough to buy 2 of the 3-9's. Pretty happy with the swap.

Tax day is usually not as dramatic though, yeah?

I ask and was told it's 8% or whatever Texas sales tax is off. I've always bought on BF sale.

Ya gotta love the Super Chickens. When I need to really feel good, I drag out my .260 with fixed 10x and put a few rounds on the steel.

Is the 10X MQ reticle similar (ability to see) to the 3-9X at a particular power range? I have a SS 3-9 but have not played with the fixed 10X. Just trying to see how it compares against different backgrounds and lighting.

I don't have a 3-9x for comparison but here's a crappy cell phone pic of the 10x at 100yds.

That helps!

Wish they'd do one in MOA!

Against my better judgment I'm going to ask, why?

So he could make 100's of posts about it then justify his decision to go with something else because somebody on the internet said the SWFA's sucked (while posting numerous pictures of their rifles adorned w/ same).

Here's this for reference. The 10X is a little finer. Mil Quad all the way.

Hold out for the 3-9x42. Order one tax day sale and wait for it if they're out. It's worth it.

I've got one in mint condition I'll sell for $500 shipped and insured. I posted here because of the obvious interest. I will probably list it in the classifieds tonight or sometime this weekend. You guys get first shot.

This is now gone.
