...who HATES a fast-focus ocular on a rifle scope? I'd prefer to get the ocular focused then lock it down, but it seems that fast-focus is becoming the norm. I always got what I wanted with Leupold scopes, but it looks like they're going with the trend, too. I hate trends.

I like fast focus but lockable fast focus would be better.

It doesn't matter either way with me yet. I've heard that the lockable kind offer greater range of adjustment. That might matter to me when I'm older.

I do like that idea. Lockable FF would be a win-win.

I want to know what you are doing to your rifles that the FF eyepiece is always getting out of focus and needs to be locked.

I never said such. I said I LIKE a locking ocular and I DO NOT LIKE fast-focus. Since I do not like fast-focus, I have no such scopes and therefore the eyepieces on my scopes are not always getting out of focus.
