I’m looking for a pair of binoculars to keep in the pickup and a Polaris Ranger, basically I don’t want to subject my Swavorski’s to that rough of service. I would like spend around $500 and get something in the 10x 42 size. Vortex, Meopta, Leupold, Tract???
A lot of good feedback on the Meopta's, I dont own any but seems like everyone who does likes them. Little on the heavy side I think
Call Doug at CLNY, he’ll hook you up with a grea binocular at a great price.
I think the Meopros and Leupold Pro Guides would be good choices. They both seem well built
I own a set of Tract Toric... I like them very much. However, the only ones I've compared in the field to it were Vanguard Endeavor HD and Vortex Viper. I'd say Tract beat both of those in light and clarity.
I own the Tract Toric 8x42,really like them.
The Tract Toric is closer in quality/view to the Meopta Meostar than it is the Meopro.
The Tract is the one I'd pick.
I’ve been using a Tract Toric 3-15 on my coyote rifle, good glass and it’s held up well. I think it’s a lot of scope for the money, not crazy about color. May give a pair of their binoculars a try.

Always a pleasure to "meet" the members here and discuss optics.
