Less than 2 wks ago sent in a vintage(late 70's) 10x scope, w/ parallax/tracking problems. Got it back yesterday.
The accompanying repair sheet says erector system was rebuilt.
Haven't tested it yet, but if all is good-----outstanding!!!!!
Hard to fix a problem when they rebuild the problem with problem parts... I hope they fixed it for you but something tells me you will be in contact with their customer service department again... good luck...
Lets see. Late 70's to todays date makes it how old??? Oh yea, that is 50 years old. I would say that is pretty good mileage, and suspect that would be the sentiment for about anyone, except maybe a pessimist.
Great track record on 50 year old parts, in my view.
Probably took you that long to realize it had a problem... lmao... joking...

Hopefully they used parts that were made back in the day to fix it and not current parts... I’d keep em on speed dial just in case...
They have been great to me too. I own many but had to send a few in, very good response and service.

Hey EHG very happy to see you posting again.

Also glad you noticed I was running a Leupy and got me to within 15 yards. Coulda been a goat rodeo.

Thanks.
a good friend at a gun show we were at a spotted a used 2x7 Leupold that was broke and the guy wanted $50.00 for it and dam it my friend got it before i did. well he sent it back to Leupold they fixed it free for him and it looked like new.so if anyone has a old broken Leupold scope and want $50.00 for it let me know i will buy it
thats why business goes out of business. Doing stupid stunts like fixing a scope you KNOW you didn't break, for minimal dollars or free.

I personally could not sleep well at night doing crap like that.

You're about a decade to much for the late 70's to now to be 50 years....just sayin! wink

But yes, I've had good luck with Leupold products. Only had to use their service once.

NYH1.

JLimbo... I hope all is well with you and yours...

After I noticed you had a leupy on board I figured we needed to be within that 30 yard range... It was a great stalk, nice goat and an awesome shot... most of all it was a fun time and a very enjoyable hunt... Thank you... Stay safe brother...
