The State Senate has passed SB 52, which would require the testing and licensing of all handgun purchasers. It is now in the Assembly, in a committee. FIrst, a right cannot be licensed. Second, the expense will be an enormous waste of tax money. Sheriff Mike Carona of Orange County says his staff has estimated an annual expense of $180,000 just fo rhis department. If you live in California, please write your Assembly person and the Governor. We all know Gov. Davis has "National Aspirations," so anyone's cards and letter will probably help. Davis had asked the legislature to hold off for a while on new gun laws, so their actions may also have upset him as as "in your face" affront.
Governor Gray Davis
State Capitol
Sacramento, CA 95814
PH: (916) 445-2841
Fax: (916) 445-4633

I'm sorry, but, and I hope you and Rick don't take this as a personal thing, it's too late.
You allowed people like finestink and wallers and others of their ilk to go to Congress and represent you.
Other things were more important than supporting The Constitution, your rights and the borders.
Again, this isn't a personal thing. kalifornicators have been giving away their rights, and ours, for years.
I hate to say it. You guys are in over your head, and, I don't think you can muster the strength to save yourselves.
There's something ironic about being able to go to work for the city of sanfiasco and getting taxpayers to pay for your sex change while most of your other rights are infringed.
Best wishes and good luck in trying to get anybody out there motivated.
Obviously, most of them, not you guys, would have preferred al***** in the White House.
How can you fight a deal like that?
2D

That's a good lesson in not letting a majority vote thing get passed. We the people will ruled by the population centers with no way escape...
