Anyone out there cast 338 bullets with gas checks? Now that we have 338 marlin and 338 federal, seems like there is a need for more cast mold designs for the 338.

RCBS makes a nice 200 grain RNFP GC mold and Lee's 220 gr RN GC is very accurate out of the 338 Mag.

Read one early article 338-08 or 338 Federal (forget which it was then) and they used the same load in that case with Lee 220 grainer that I used in Mag for an accurate load.

338 Federal seem like a great little round, but mostly ignored just like the 358 Win. I think both would do far more harvesting that folks want to give credit if there were more users.
