My old high school buddy and I just got back from 2 weeks of fly fishing and antelope hunting in Wyoming and Utah.

We spent the first week in and around Duschene, Utah fly fishing. We spent some time on the streams and capped the week with a nine mile float trip on the Green River, below Flaming Gorge. What a beautiful place!

We then drove up to unit 88 near Pinedale, Wyoming and hooked up with another high school chum that I had not seen in over 40 years. He has lived in Pinedale for about 35 years and he really knew the area.

I was using a Kimber Montana in 257 Roberts with handloaded, 100 gr Barnes TTSX. MY buddy was using his Ruger 25-06 with 117 gr Hornady SST. Both proved very effective on antelope.

Here are some pics that I hope will do justice to the trip.

My "daily double" on the second day.
