Shoot.

He'll be out again during the rut, after the last deer hunt. grin Try to get a picture of him with hard antlers.

I'll definitely be looking for him during the rut and through the winter. Hopefully I can post some updated pictures in November (if he makes it through the hunting seasons).

Stud....

All that as described above and more. I hope you either put him on the ground or at least get more pictures.
Posted By: ELKiller Re: A nice muley buck - 08/06/15
I wish I could put him on the ground too... But, I don't have a license this year and even if I did, it's unlikely that I could get permission to hunt the ground that he occupies. Oh well; that's what they make cameras for smile

ELKiller no license sucks! But I hear through friends thats a common problem for folks in CO these days. frown

That buck does not live far from Doorango by any chance....does he? smile

LOL! ELKhunter that's good enough!

Years back I researched where a lot of the B&C mule deer bucks came from and SW Colorado had a disproportionate number of them.

So, I went there to hunt! Several times! smile

Nice buck!

I saw a real dandy this morning up here. He wasn't as wide as that one, but taller with better forks, and the same mass...

Looks a lot like one that I seen the other night on the way home. Lets just say the one I seen was within an hour of my hometown of Cedaredge. Might this be the same buck ELKiller?
