Haven't seen any harvest threads, here is mine from Saturday. Was great, we had the ranch to ourselves and both harvested.

[Linked Image]

Now off for elk and deer in 2-weeks....
Looks like you killed an antelope too. Harvest is pretty much done here. Good weather for it. Sounds like the crops were generally pretty good but prices are down.
NO PC for ME. I just kill stuff.
Season hasn't opened for me yet.
Yeah I think he is dead, didn't think I had to add that part. Not sure who is worse the PC crowd or the bad arse internet tough guys. I am definitely not PC but figured since I submit a harvest report you could get it.

Let me redneck it up for you, any killed critters, post em on up.

In all seriousness, good luck on your hunt.
Congrats on a nice antelope - they are fun critters to "harvest":)

I'll be after them in Wyoming in about 30 days - can't wait!!

Last day of my Nevada tag, two hours before I was going to hang it up.
Our season starts October 3. Numbers look to be bouncing back from some bad winters, and we've seen a few nice bucks. Scouting again Labor Day weekend. Can't wait!
Nice goat Farming! Bottom of the 9th to boot!
Good job Farming, nice kill.
Congrats hunt' and farm'.

Maybe in 25 years I'll get another antelope tag.

Make you a deal SLM, I'll quit drawing all the antelope tags for one oryx!

Not sure why I have been so lucky, but they are fun hunts.
I guess it works out in the end. I've drawn off range twice, but still waiting on my OIL.

That buck is a stud!

Making things happen in the midnight hour is always a good feeling. Well done!
Here's my Montana archery antelope from this year.

Not huge but it's time to move on to elk season.

Good hunting!

Great archery kill FishN! Good luck on your elk hunt.

I'm hoping to suck even worse after this weekend!

I'd like to get an elk dead but the rain might make it difficult.

Oh well, I'm going to get some good exercise that's for sure.

Have a good Labor Day, Tom!

Cheers!
My hats off to anyone who can take big game with a bow. Antelope...In spades.

Killed this one near Casper, Wy last Friday Sept. 25th.
My very first goat. The rut was on. We hunted with SnS outfitters.
10 guys in camp and all got an antelope, most on the first day.
Took me 2 days. I was always kinda slow.
Shot this one in Wyoming Monday evening.

very nice....good mass and curl....
Nice antelope, guys. My permit is for east of town.. Haven't spotted what I feel is a good buck yet.. West of town, different unit, I saw several good bucks this am.. Plus one huge one..!!
Killed this guy in Northern New Mexico three weeks ago with Drummond " Huntsonora" on here. Had my son along for our first hunt together. [Linked Image][Linked Image]
Great antelopes, I really like the coloring on a buck antelope. I think they make great mounts.
Dropped my hunters meat off at the locker plant this afternoon. A nice heavy buck was laying on the floor. Azz shot and unskinned. Locker guy said the guy got him first thing in the morning. The only difference between that buck and the yearling doe I dropped off is, the doe will be fit to eat. All 60 lbs...grin

Heck of a buck there.. No way to treat any kind of meat!!
Got this Wyoming buck Thursday late morning - orange removed for picture. Really misjudged this one, thought he was just a little guy, ended up being right at 15" and pretty good mass. Was thrilled to take him:)

Yep, finished Wyo week ago Thursday. 90* afternoons, all skinned, boned, on ice within 30 min. Great meat, bucks and does both.

Great photo..........and super nice goat!
Nice goats, guys!

Here's my first..

Last Sat. Finally drew rifle antelope in a good unit (Idaho). Couldn't get on the herd buck first thing in the morning but coming back down came upon this guy.

Tikka T3 SL .223

Must say, I really enjoyed antelope hunting. Who knows if I'll ever draw rifle again so next yea may be bow time (guaranteed tag)!

Well done! Wyoming's not that far away from you. Pronghorn hunting is very near the top IMO for fun.
Here are a couple of pictures of my wife's antelope. We only had about a day and a half to hunt and she still managed to get a nice antelope. She had to make a rather hurried shot at a little over 200 yards as he was getting nervous and walking away. You can see the bullet entry wound in one photo and like any other big game animal, shot placement is critical proving that even a .338 Win Mag will kill an antelope.

Memtb,
Well done, your wife is a great shot!

Actually, the non-typical stayed home. This is an even lighter build on a rem 700 with a #2 rock creek barrel. Performed great, but I've decided to switch bullets, as I had a 105 berger grenade on a doe's shoulder.
Dang congratulate your daughter on a fine job! Great buck!

Awesome pics everyone! I'll have does to post up when I get back from Wyoming.

Pronghorn are a blast to hunt!
Congrat's to your daughter, great shot and a better antelope!!! memtb
Kimber7man, Thanks, yes she's deadly when she has time and getting pretty good when hurried a little!! memtb
You folks have taken some really nice "speed Goats"! Congrat's to all! memtb

Triad Tactical - they carry the stock packs.
Northwestern NV goat. Quick trip over Labor Day weekend.

Stud goat there Bob.

Tanner
Thanks Tanner!
DEWD turning green here.
Beauty of a buck, Bob!
Thanks EFW and Kimber7Man.

Let's see some more antelopesss!
No monsters, but we had a good time in Wyoming on public land. Beats what we have back home.

Dads with his Model 70 Featherweight .243 at about 170 yards.
[Linked Image]

Mine with my Kimber .257 Roberts at 250 yards. If you look to left of rifle barrel you can see buck after the shot laying where I shot it. Little white spec.

[Linked Image]

Brother in laws with his Model 70 Featherweight 30-06 at about 150 yards.

[Linked Image]

Finished up with our doe tags over on the Nevraska border, but no pics of them.
had a couple brothers out for their first biggame hunt. Boss gave them a couple doe tags. Had fun, but lost my zebralight headlamp that RJM gave me, while trying a stalk to get one of them filled. I've spent maybe 4 hours trying to retrace our steps to find it, and will go back out again to look. It was my mostest favoritest lamp ever......

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

I got him within 40 yds of a little buck on the sneak.....

[Linked Image]
All great animals, congrats and good eating!
Excellent:

Just got off the phone with Wyoming Fish and Game,

All buck tags are sold out in the Gillette area but there are still does and fawn tags over the counter.

For advanced info contact:

Cheesy - nice goats and a couple of darn good looking rifles. I'm envious of that little Kimber, what a sweetheart of a rifle.

Don - nice work and sorry to hear about your Zebra light - I've heard they were kick ass. I laid down a set of 7x26 (?) Bushnells one time caribou hunting...one of the dumbest things I've ever done (well, one of the many!). I was lucky enough to find them back - young eyes at the time!
Cheesy,

Nice bucks... that is one sweet looking Kimber!! Seems to shoot also...
William,

I would check and make sure about the tag availability before heading this way. According to the online leftover list there are only doe tags left in areas 2,3, 10 and 15. Of those 3 is the only one reasonably close to Gillette, it starts at Moorcroft and looks like it surrounds the keyhole area.

Good luck.

Played Kimber roulette twice on used rifles and more than won each time. A 308 and this 257. Makes visiting gunshops boring now because no others interest me.
Not a monster, but I was happy because I managed to get an MPAJ rollover prone shot at 97 yards after having to reposition the rifle 180 degrees while flat on my back and raise up in front of him and his harem of about 15 does who were stationed at various heights at and above my position. (Maybe that’s why he’s not a monster. smile ) 700 Ti .308 shooting a 168 grain TSX.

[Linked Image]
Good lookin goat, congrats Cheyenne!
Posted over in the scenar thread also, but a nice buck from Area 22 last Friday:

[Linked Image]
Has been a great year for antelope kills, congrats on the good eats!
I only had a doe tag.
[Linked Image]

First shot at 458 yds and went over her back (held 1 mil high). Stalked/crawled to 167 yds and put it thru the ribs. She turned to trot just before I fired, so I started to lead her, but I lead a little too much and damaged some shoulder meat.
