Either you are a very large man, or that is a very slim rifle. Or both. Good job on the hog, either way!

Dang KW you're killing me; I had a nearly identical rifle but had to sell it to pay for my father's funeral. LOVE yours! Really glad it's getting some use!

I'm sorry for your loss. My sincerest condolences. Wifey was able to give me this rifle for Christmas back about 2009. They are fun! What's so cool on this one is there is a silver escutchon on the stock with a fellows name on it. And there are 8 little brass pins driven into the stock just to the front of the heel on the right hand side! I have like 6 more critters to go to play catch up!

Looking at the stock on that rifle I cant help but think it'd point just like my favorite SxS shotgun..Looks pretty handy

Yes Rosco! It points very well. Great with open sights in the thicket! I have two of these. One I ran a 9.3 x 62 chamber reamer in one slow day at the old jobsite. Then I had to remove the sporting clay recoil pad someone had put on it. To make it a bit more manageable with a coat on!

They are both great shooters!!

Nice rifle, one like that is on my list of rifles I'd like to play with.

Outstanding my friend!
I need to kill something with 9.3x57mm. For a number of reasons it's my favorite rifle in my safe.

Just now seeing this. Good stuff indeed. Now, you need to got pot a Nilgai.

Thanks HBB,Tom, and GRF!

I doubt I'll chase any deers this year. Prolly be there for immoral support and assisting with gutting and skinning. However, my old adversary, the nilgai, may see me along his trail. Be nice to down one with my newest 1895 Winchester. That would be cool. And there's always a pig or two that needs killin'.

Gonna try to get my daughter and her husband down for a weekend hunt. Neither has shot a deer and its high time they did it.
