(Casper, Wyo.) – After two hours of initial appearances in the Townsend Justice Center, seven Illinois residents were charged for 22 wildlife violations following a poaching incident that occurred in Natrona County on Friday, October 2nd click to read more about this case.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reported that at least five pronghorn antelope were illegally taken by the hunting party and nine individuals were involved. Seven of the nine appeared in court today and the WGFD will continue their investigation.

Today the seven individuals met to hear their formal charges and enter pleas.

First up was 33-year-old Yasir Khan who was charged with four citations including accessory to the taking of a antelope which carries a $10,000 fine and up to one year in prison and four years of loss of hunting and fishing privileges.

Count two was for accessory to hunting in the wrong area and one for shooting from a vehicle which both counts were dismissed in exchange for a no contest plea to count one and four, which was for taking an antelope without a license and to destruction.

With his plea deal he was sentenced to pay $3,000 in fines and $3,500 of restitution to be paid back to the state of Wyoming and six years of hunting and fishing privileges revoked. Oil City News

What the hell. Did they think they were goats? Virgin goats? Practice for the big day? Weird man......I hope they run some background checks on them. Maybe send them back to the motherland....

I bet they are illegals and will be deported and just come back. The state will need to collect the fine money before they are released. They are muslim's and don't need no freeking licenses.

We ran into a couple muslim's antelope hunting 2 years ago on the north Platte miracle mile . They said they hunted every year for antelope & duck hunted. left us scratching our heads
