Grandma wanted the grandchild for the day so the wife and I went out to find her a deer. Spotted these mule deer and this buck tailing a doe. Wife got behind the 7mm mashburn and hammered the buck at 427 yards with a 150 grain ballistic tip. Going to be doing some canning now.

That's a cool looking buck! Always have liked big 3's like that one, make for a nice trophy - congrats to you both.

Cube it up. Throw it in some jars with a beef bullion cube and pressure can it. Can used canned deer for about anything.

The wife isn't much of a fan of venison flavor.

Like pot roast. Just falls apart. Really good to make gravy out of the juice and put it over mashed potatoes
