Well, it looks like I drew this tag. Time to hunt the famed Kaibab during the late rifle season, November 18-27. I'm still shaking my head as I didn't even know I had drawn it until two letters from outfitters arrived in my mail today. I was like, "Uh, WTF, why am I getting these"? It hit me so I boogied to my computer and sure as [bleep], there it was SUCCESSFUL.

So now the fun starts. I know nothing of the area and need to figure out how to approach this hunt. Do I go at it on my own (my ability to scout will likely be extremely limited) or do I hire an outfitter? I'd rather do it on my own but I don't want to blow this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Any thoughts? Advice? Direction? I am all ears on this one folks!!
That's a really good tag. If $$ allows, hire someone.
