I have 11 points for bear what unit should I apply in next year?

Used to live in Aspen Co. Moved last year. You could pop a bruiser of a bear on Smuggler Mountain right next to Aspen. 30 minuete hike. Any day in any hunt. Also in and around that whole area. The tree huggers refuse to call game and fish for problems and hence now there is an extreme surplus of big bears there. Game and fish have to shoot a good many every year. Maroon Bells, Snowmass.etc..

Agreed with above. Aspen area is great for bears.

Bears behind every tree in Aspen area. Do a community service and shoot some.

We were hunting in 521 last year, not for bears. I did see one amble through the woods, not very big though. I think they were pushing for more to buy tags, seemed like they wanted to get the numbers down a bit. Lots of bear poop too.
Agree with GMU 47 or 43. They're like rats.
