How do I post pictures in .jpg format? I just have to show you pictures of a 63"+ kudu taken by a friend of mine three weeks ago.

Oscar:
put [ i m a g e ] and [ / i m a g e ] around the http: address, but take the spaces out.

If you can't manage it, e-mail the pics to me at
[email protected] and I'll be happy to do it for you.........
he isn't quite 63, but if you're getting the shakes, here's a kudu to hold you until the big boy arrives:
You used a rifle... cheater
Now bring out the monster!
I'm impressed....stick and string mucho tougher chore than .375
Steve, your Kudu is mucho bigger than my little guy... so the .375 was probably necessary.
Nice trophies any way you slice it (or shoot it).
I guess the 63 inchers are still myth?
You guys have posted some pretty nice ones though. Even if they aren't 63".
If/when I go back, kudu hunting will rate pretty high. I wasn't much interested in them before, but after seeing them in the wild, they seem a lot more interesting to me now.
Brent
Brent,
I have seen two mounted heads that were in the 64"+ class (on the longest horn). They were wall-hangers in two shops in South Africa, and were shot by locals.

fabulous Kudu......mine isn't quite that good but it's a keeper anyway.

It's been two weeks, man...give...!!! We want to see pics...
Dennis
Sorry guys,
Haven't been on the forum for some time. Will send pics to shakari to post.
Oscar
And here's the pic. OscarB sent me 3 pics, but this is the best of them. The other two don't show the horns too well - so I didn't waste bandwidth. Stunning animal!

Jy's die een! How'd your friend manage it, with a Blaser(?)
That is one SWEET bull!
My goodness. What a terrific looking animal!
That is one sweet bull AND rifle!!
Nice mass on that kudu! The really long ones go out from the head, and then go up to the first turn. Any measuring done on the length and circumference of the longest horn?
thanks...jim
Here's a pic of my 55" bull from 2006. If you compare the horn spread, you can see instantly why his is 63" -- it is simply tremendously wide and holds it's width through the curls.
Kudu are incredibly interesting to try to judge in the field...

WOW! I just now re-visited this thread to see if the 63 was up on the page...... WAAAAYYYY nice trophy! Exceeds anything I OR any of my clients have ever shot. Best of any of my clients right at 60" and a VERY nice trophy to be sure but 63? Freaky huge. Congratualtions. Gonna get him officially scored? Not everyone cares about such things but he would score VERY high in either book. The two 55's are exceptionally nice as well, thanks guys for posting them. I just met last night with my first client of the year heading to Africa to give him a new stock for one of my PH's very tired pre-64 model 70 375H&H. he is excited and I am jealous
Wow! My outfitter and I were pumped with my 58-incher. I had the impression a 60" kudu was akin to a 400 pt bull elk!
Very nice Steve and Oscarb!

As the boys say up here...Goodness Gracious!
