Missing: Black Wildebeest bull that his wife, Cecile shot. The bull standing almost broadside quartering towards, jerked his head towards his shoulder, as only Black Wildebeest can do, as the trigger broke. The bullet hit the bottom of the horn at the sweep, took most of the energy and the bullet hit perfectly placed on the shoulder, but did not have the energy to penetrate far enough. We shot the bull 4 days later. What a story.
Marius I note many rifles in use having suppressors. Were these guns belonging to you or are they what the hunters brought with them? Seemed like an unusually large number to be imports.

Just curious.

Hey Jim,
Majority of the rifles in the photos are my own. They are between a suppressed .308Win, firing 130gr Monolithic at 3000fps.The other is a Ruger .300Win Mag, also with a suppressor.
The photos with the father and son with suppressed rifles near the bottom of the post, were their own. They had me purchase the suppressors for them over here, and I mailed the nut to them, to have their gunsmith cut the thread, the same as the thread on their barrels made for their brakes. So, they did their entire safari with suppressed rifles in a .300Win and .338Win. They were from Connecticut so they could not take the suppressors back with them, but knew this once they sprung the idea on me.
