As I look through the various posts and websites, I can kinda pick out prices for various safari operations and trophy fees. Obviously can also figure out the airline portion of cost equation.

However, have not seen costs associated with "dip, pack, transport, and taxidermy fees". Do the subsequent fees end up comparable to the cost of the safari ? Significantly more ? Significantly less ?

I understand that the taxidermy fee for a rug will be different than for a full body mount in a diorama. But trying to get a handle on basic post safari costs.

Trying to figure out what I would have to "liquidate" to cover the portal to portal, fully loaded cost of a 7 to 10 day Plains Game hunt, including subsequent and ancillary fees.

For a 10 days plains game hunt, at todays prices, plan on about $3500 to get your trophies home to you....

3 to 4k for D/P/S from Africa to the USA

After your crate arrives home you will then need to clear your import through customs

I used a broker....D&L

After that the broker can either ship your crate to you or a taxidermist

Allow an additional $500 for these services
