It was my second "safari" to RSA.....I returned to Two Water's Safari's because the first trip was so memorable and Brian and Cheryl Seady didn't disappoint in the least. They run a first class Lodge for whatever you want in Africa.

This time I decided to do mostly a camera safari but the Zebra bug overwhelmed me and I borrowed a .30-06 (cz) to take the single shot required to do so. Photos later as my computer is down and I'm using a friends machine.

There is absolutely no end of things to see in Africa and no end to the enjoyment of the experience.

I have often heard the comments about the plane ride and again this proved to be true as the Airbus leaving Johannesburg flew six hours to Ghana where it sat for another five hours for hydraulics repairs and then another ten hours to Dulles (Washington D C).....21 hours in one seat....for a guy of 70....it's a real ordeal......but the trip was worth anything it took to get there and back.......I'm already trying to figure out how to do it all over again but this time I'd like to do a warthog safari.

I couldn't begin to count the warthogs and those with fine "teeth" were not at all scarce. Besides, it gives me an excuse to go again.

Dangerous game is out of the question for me due to cost and besides, I don't have room for more taxidermy in my house. Zebra hides and warthog teeth are fair game in my eyes.

If I get smarter, next time will be when fishing is in full swing and some bird hunting (dove, Guinea fowl, Frankolin, etc) is possible.

Two Waters can fix you up with any of the dangerous game hunts but the plains game in the Port Elizabeth area is just fine with me. A search for the "Tiny ten" would also be of interest as I already have a Duiker and they take up so little room in the house.

No matter how you look at it......Africa is everything one would want it to be and then some. There is no place like it on this planet and finding a new planet is a ways off (LOL)

Africa can be addicting, no doubt about it. I'm with you....the long plane rides are worth it.
