I just junked my last trail cam. For night photos the animal had to be within 15 feet or all I got was glowing eyes. Who gets decent night photos for a decent price?
Tell you what I switched over to, I have been running StealtCam PX series, still have about 5 of them,
I switched over to Tactacam Reveal series Cellular cameras, pics are perfect, feed right
to your cell phone day or night, only retail for about $100, Verizon or At&t specific,
about $5 per month to connect, use an app. on your phone to bring to life.
5 star reviews thru-out the hunting community. I am glad I have started to switch over.
Biggest problem is finding them, they appear to be sold out everywhere now.

I’ve done well with Apeman trail cams I bought off of Amazon. Hasn’t leaked in rain and gets great pics in the dark timber. Sadly bears like chewing on them so I need a few more.
I'll check the Apeman. Do most cameras have a port for a battery cable? I still have my solar panel/battery from the old cam.
Back in the day when I ran expensive cameras I worried about them getting stolen (some were) and if an area was camera worthy since I had limited units. About five years ago I started buying cheap trail cameras on sale after season. Now I run about a dozen cheapo ($25 or less) cameras and no worries if a bear crunches one....I no longer wonder if an area is camera worthy.... if I see a spot of interest I just pull out a camera and put it up and get my questions answered. Another thing I do is use two cameras on a hot spot.....usually one facing North and one South to determine the entrance and exit in an area the deer are using. It has opened up a whole new world of information and provided vital assistance in determining where to place stands. I have been pleasantly surprised at the longevity of my cheapo cameras. Anyway, just sharing what works for me...your mileage may vary. Good hunting!

We’ve used Bushnell w real good success wo being priced out of the mkt. Never have had one leak rain. Also, good night time imaging and real fast follow up pics. Lots of good stuff out there but they have worked well for us. Good luck.
I've got Moultrie, Spypoint, Covert, Tasco, and Apeman cams out. More Moultrie and Covert than anything else. I don't need the cams that I can check with my cell phone, because they are all here on the farm, and I can access them 24-7. I've quit buying high dollar cams, as I've found the ones in the low end price range work for me. Personally, I've always liked the Moultrie cams better than anything else. Put good batteries in them, and just keep them checked on a regular basis.
