Overview

Pilonidal cyst Open pop-up dialog box
A pilonidal (pie-low-NIE-dul) cyst is an abnormal pocket in the skin that usually contains hair and skin debris. A pilonidal cyst is almost always located near the tailbone at the top of the cleft of the buttocks.

Pilonidal cysts usually occur when hair punctures the skin and then becomes embedded. If a pilonidal cyst becomes infected, the resulting abscess is often extremely painful. The cyst can be drained through a small incision or removed surgically.

Some gruesome vids on Youtube. They can be serious.

It looks very painful

But if a person plucks their nose and ear hairs

They should get on them asscrack hairs too. Or else...this could cause a few days’ sick leave.

And everybody know sick leave is for crappie fishin 🤪😂

Family member has had a bad one, and had multiple surgeries where they cut chunks out damn near to the bone. Took weeks to recover from, and had open wounds that had to be packed with gauze.

Not pleasant.

you are just plain ol' weird bruh.

Can't you just surf the net for assorted pallet and cable spool structures like a normal person?

I had one when I was 16. Removed it surgically. It came back when I was 22, and it was a bitch to heal. Stinking mess, had to heal from the bottom and drain and all of that. Thankfully the second surgery fixed it permanently.

Jeep driver's disease, I had one removed 10 years ago. Too much sitting on my ass and working on a computer.

Not for me.

Give me The First 48 or maybe Murder in the Heartland. I love dead people programs, the live medicine ones not so much.

Yeah, I had one of those when I grew a full, long beard. I felt a pus-filled zit and squeezed it and it popped up like a turkey thermometer. It had wound around itself a few times and was stiff.
