It seems unabashed racism is okay on 24hourcampfire, and people, many of whom are unabashed racists, will say "I'm glad Rick Bin supports the 1st Amendment and freedom of speech".

But if a member attempted to apply these free speech principles to say, posting gay pornography, I'm sure that member and all their posts would be removed very quickly. And you wouldn't hear those same people complaining about violation of the free speech principle.

It is my opinion that we are bombarded constantly with disinformation in order to create enough frustration over a long enough duration that we begin to desire and demand a central authority, a Ministry of Truth, so to speak. I think that may be the real purpose of many of the rather unhinged "news sources" purporting to be conservative---yes, I said that...but I am by no stretch absolving the lamestream media who has proven time after time after time that the truth is no object to them.

We have to stop passing on unverified allegations presented as factual reporting, no matter the source.
