Grandpa loved his old Porsches. I remember visiting as a young kid and he had 2 or 3 old cars in the basement. Each in various stages of being rebuilt. Another 3 or 4 were in the back yard. Overgrown and dirty but he wasn't willing to let them go.

He's been gone a few years and the project cars dispersed when they moved 15+ years ago. Grandma still has some parts and pieces laying around. I'm helping her sell the remaining items.

Problem is I know next to nothing about Porsche or where to look. Hoping the 'fire can point me in the right direction.

I'm told this hood is for a 356 but no info other than that. Looking to better understand a fair price and where to list given limited info. Internet pricing seems to be all over the place.

I would join a Porsche forum and ask there. As a Porsche owner there are a lot of good folks out there.

Take a look at https://www.pca.org/. This is the Porsche club of America site. Some of this stuff has real value but you really need to ask someone who collects/restores them. They have a Classified Section which might help.
I am looking for early 911 seats, and any other early 911 parts if you have them. As mentioned, Pelican Parts has a good forum for selling parts.

Rennlist is another heavily trafficked forum for Porsche enthusiasts.
