1983 I believe, Orpheum theater. Same place I took you to see Garbage play. SRV with Double Trouble. Either TX Flood or Couldn't Stand the Weather tour. Never thought any man, ever, could play like the sainted JMH. SRV proved me wrong that evening...

Mid-late 80's at the Concord (CA) Pavilion that was maybe 10 miles from my house. Overall the show was good but, at times, I could only take so long of a solo...

i saw him in austin in july 84 at the palmer auditorium. a while back i posted a link to a site that has a bunch of his old concerts recorded. i sat and listened to the same show i saw in 1984. pretty cool. still got the shirt and ticket stub too.

We saw Jimmy Vaughn last month at the Grand Old Opry for a tribute to Billy Gibbons, ZZ Top, and it was a Great Show.
Those Vaughn boys could/can really shred a guitar.
