Haven't learned too much since last outing

Nice video! Would it be feasible to use the drone to go into canyons looking for cliff dwellings or pictographs? Would also be interesting to explore abandoned open pit mines, etc. where foot travel might be difficult or dangerous. Drones open up a whole world of possibilities, it seems.

Biggest issue would be flying in 'WSA's' Wilderness Study Areas

It's frowned upon.....or against laws/rules

The other issue would be banging drone off the walls 600' down a canyon

Yeah definitely want to stay clear of the canyon walls. I think I see a new recovery niche developing... Matt's Drone Recovery. Get a big drone with some lifting capacity and a hook. Have you thought of attaching an Apple Air Tag to that drone? If you lost track of it in that wide open country, that might be the only way to locate it.

Oh, those drones, thought you were talking about govt employees.
