I want to purchase a Sitka coat to improve my cold weather layer to go with the rest of my Sitka clothing. I am looking at the looking at the Kelvin Down Hoody or the Jetstream Jacket. My hunting style is hike to area and long periods of glassing

Anyone with experience with these items or other similar Sitka products?
I have the Jetstream jacket, and a Sitka puffy whose name I can’t recall. The jacket is my outer layer, and I use it a lot. The puffy generally stays in my pack, used usually when sitting awhile glassing. I seldom use it while moving.

I would caution you in sizing. Normally, a standard Large size fits me, but these run small. Mine are XL and fit perfectly.
Thanks, Yes, glassing is when I get cold but was thinking the Jetstream would be beneficial as well
So what cologne do you guys wear with your sitca outfits?
The Sitka WS Kelvin Down Hoody is a great piece of kit if you are just glassing. It is extremely durable and works as a parka down to -40F for going from house to truck and truck to work. The Sitka Kelvin Aerolite Hoody is very warm for its weight. Sitka isn't the only game in town. The MH Stretchdown DS Hoody is also a great insulating layer that isn't as heavy. Kuiu and Kifaru also make products. The Kifaru Lost park synthetic Puffy is probably the best but it is pricey. The Sitka WS might be just as expensive if you just buy at retail but ultimately Sitka always goes on sale and can be found for less.
Agree with GF1’s input, and his sizing advice is spot on as well. To me the Jetstream is truly a jacket, doesn’t offer a ton in the warmth category, but a good outer layer.

Tinks #69!
I’d consider a First Lite merino or quilted fleece hoody under a Sitka Jetstream for windproofing and warmth when sitting.
Thanks for all the responses team. I am going to look into these other brands as well but I have some Sitka gear so started looking there.
