I've roamed the rest of them fairly extensively and lived for a while in California and New York before starting elementary school. Looking at that list, I can't think of a good reason to go see any of them at this point.

In fact, if it wasn't for visiting family, I don't really care to travel more than a 50 mile radius from right where I am.

For me is the east mostly.

Maine, Mass, NY, Vermont, Rhode Island, Virgina, West Virgina, Both Carolina’s, New Jersey, PA, Ohio, Connecticut.

Rural New England is beautiful. And a darn sight more rural than
you would think. Away from the cities the people are even pretty decent.



Having traveled around in all the lower 48, I'd guess only RI and
DE never positively impressed me much.

I've driven to RI to fish and DE to vacation and fish.
They must not be too bad!
