I just saw Wabi's thread regarding Nativity Scenes.

Thought I'd share this since 'tis the season and all. My wife has always wanted a manger nativity scene. All the ones I found on line or in stores were expensive junk so I decided to make it myself using branches from our apple tree and some cedar shakes. This was her Christmas present in 2016, I believe.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Very nice, rooster.
That is no less than Amazing! If I'm smart enough, may I borrow that?
Very nice, just like the one we used to have, growing up.

You'll have to ask my wife if she'll part with it first! hahaha

But seriously have at it! Just know that it takes about 7 cases of beer and a lot of burnt thumbs and fingers from the hot glue gun!

Actually, now that I think about it, the beer and the burns might have gone hand in hand...
Nice!

Someone gave us a core years ago...

Boys and I added shingles and a a corral fence and other "stuff" every year. A true joy to build out with my sons... and set it up each year.

Gifted it away last year...

God Bless all that carry the torch of Christ!

Oh.
Just beautiful!
Thanks everyone.

My wife cried when I gave it to her so either she really liked it or she was expecting something else!

LOL
Beautiful!
