Recently finished reading the book "Tailspin" by John Armbruster. The book details the story of Gene Moran, a tailgunner in a B17 bomber that was shotdown, and how he survived a 4 mile fall in the severed tail of the bomber, and his experience as a POW.

Book is from 2022, and widely for sale in Southwestern Wisconsin (as well as online of course) as both the author and the subject of the story are from the area.

I recommend it if you are in the market for a good read.
