That color! Is that "Plum Crazy Purple"? My dad's "Purple People Eater" was that color. My (blonde) mother was in the shop the night he painted it and she graduated High School with a purple tint in her hair from being in there.

He wanted to put those ralley,ta stripes- those are hinted pearlescent in their tones.
Had fiberglass drop pin hood, flat black with pearlescent flames on it
Found a Magnum hood and went with it for current use.
Was a dodge dark blue originally. But that was boring.
Weren’t no innanet when I started building. Hauled out of backyard for $125
missing, engine, fenders, hood, wrecked in front. No gas tank, interior trashed.
Used to ride around for hours 20 county radius and look in peoples’ back yards for other challengers and try to acquire parts or parts cars.
