What would Mexico do with all the worthless drug dollars they run their country on; Canada is too closely tied to US in farm products, and, the processing of oil and transporting it to foreign markets would be cost prohibitive (think competition). Convincing Brazil and the African countries to "play ball" with us will be vital, however.

If you’re cashed up and can store up commodities you’ll definitely use in the next year, I think it’s a great idea. The best time to buy was two years ago, the second best time to buy is right now.
