Hello,

I received an email from someone asking about a scope I sold on here years ago. I told him what I remembered of it. He said he was looking at one similar, and provided a link. Here's a screenshot:

Clicking that link led to

Notice that it says 24hourcampfires.

I didn't get phished, but only because I was paying attention. I reinforced my password anyway.

The email address this came from was Andrew Gillis <[email protected]>.

Please watch it, and change your passwords if you have any doubts at all.

Regards,

Josh

Don’t use the same password on more than one forum either. Have a unique password for each site you frequent. Guys are getting their passwords hacked across the net, then the thief can search your username and find it on other sites. Then they change your password and scam the classifieds with your name/account.

I wondered what his goal was.

I use Firefox. It generates complex, unique passwords automatically and saves them.
