There are several good candidates available that would be excellent VPs and I think Tim Scott is one of the front runners. He is smart, conservative, and knows his way around the beltway a bit... However, I would be willing to bet it will be somebody outside the beltway that ends up in the VP chair. Consider what a VP has to do foremost- he must seem like he is top of his game , responsible, and loyal- without upstaging the President in any way. And he must also align most of his political views with the President's views or there will be friction, especially with someone like Trump. Ramaswamy would also be a good candidate. He wants to be President and this would be a great springboard for him to run in 2028 for the big chair and have some history behind him- as long as his history is on the good side and Trump doesn't blow up the Republican side for the future with his antics.

Still, I think the VP choice is going to be a surprise....
