Did lots of interesting stuff with Porter, using the electric banjo. Much of the stuff you hear after Porter’s first few years, that sounds like steel guitar, is actually Buck on his electric banjo. Quite an instrumentalist.

Damn. So sorry to hear about this. He was a great player and an asset to the Hee Haw group. With him and Roy doing the "Dueling Banjos" bit, it will be a classic to watch over and over again.
