We don't get the subzero week every winter anymore. Maybe a day ot two touch zero.
We get 2 or 3 snows that matter, maybe one that is work boot deep.
We rarely have snow at this lower elevation for more than a week, as opposed to most of the winter.

We don't get the 100 degree week in summer, with 90+ degree nights.

The first half of my life we rarely took ticks off animals, very rarely us.
Now it's assumed you WILL get them. Due to the mikd winters.

You planted frost vulnerable vegetables Memorial Day Weekend, and hoped for no frost for two weeks. Now, May is safe, sometimes much of April.

Everything was frosted out by mid-September, maybe before Labor Day.
Now, it might be October, maybe November.

Usually mixed the grass once, maybe twice after school started.
Now, it's November.

Just for chuckles let’s say there is radical climate change and humans play a significant role. So which humans? US of A humans? No. More laws and regulations than the rest of the world combined it seems. Northern Europe through Russia? I doubt it. Commie China? Well sure. Pacific rim, and the Indias, Sri Lankas, 3d world countries in general? Of course.

So what sense does it make for the US to shoulder the burden for fighting this monster (that doesn’t exist)? Taking down our nation is what makes sense. And that’s all the sense it makes.

Some months ago I looked at current and historical pictures of the weather stations around the area I grew up. Pictures from when I was a kid, and before I was born, show they were surrounded by natural vegetation and farm land. Now they're surrounded by concrete and blacktop. No way to use most weather station raw data to correlate directly to "climate change". As soon as "correction factors" are added, all bets are off on relation to actual change. Other means are used as well, but all rely on models to account for variables over time.

Our climate has been, in general, in a warming trend for the last 270 years, yet we only focus on the last 50 years of that time and declare a "crisis".

I'm a meteorologist - have been for 40+ years. When Al Gore first came out announcing "global warming", I told my wife to watch - the biggest political and financial scam ever is unfolding in front of our eyes.

Everyone here should understand that when the dinosaurs roamed the earth and bugs were the size of Dobermans, North America had a tropical climate - HOT and humid!

Everyone here should also realize that occasionally, (roughly every 100,000 years) we have an ice age, with glaciers covering most of North America.

These swings in climate have been going on for millions of years - with NO input from industrial carbon dioxide. Our last ice age (called a glacial maximum) ended 11,000 years ago. WE'VE BEEN WARMING UP EVER SINCE.

Of course, there have been pauses, and even some reversals (look up the "little ice age" that occurred from the 1500's to the 1800's). The trend line of global temperatures looks like the Dow Jones index in a bad year.

Carbon dioxide IS a greenhouse gas, and it DOES have an influence. But it's a TINY influence, much less than other factors. The only reason the political left is hyping carbon dioxide is because it's a convenient boogeyman - easy to tax, easy to demonize ("Look at those big, bad coal plants spewing smoke into our beautiful environment!") - and it has the merest hint of scientific truth behind it.

Let me ask you a question: if you shot a 153gr bullet in your 7mm mag, would it travel faster than if you used a 154gr bullet? The simple answer is yes, maybe.
