I knew it was in February, but didn’t know the exact date. IIRC, Waylon gave up his seat on the plane to Richardson, who was catching a cold in the bus. He and Buddy were kidding one another. “I hope the damn bus breaks down”, Buddy told Waylon. “I hope the damn plane crashes” Waylon replied. Waylon kept a good relationship with the Hollies and they toured with him some. I saw them back in 1980 or so - a great show. Still wish Buddy and the others could have been there.
