I know a ranch with 7 rangers of various ages and the 8th and most recent bought was a North Star model Ranger. 27k waited a year for the order to come in and what a disappoint that machine has been for the ranch.

Ignore the obvious Polaris being a POS but I don't think this was built with consumer sales as primary. Wouldn't surprise me if they're hoping for defense/.gov sales mostly and happen to offer it to consumers.

That kind of money buys a lot in a used vehicle if a work environment is what it’s needed for.

Local dealer has a polaris completely loaded and the sticker is $50k lol
Had a Polaris 4wlr at one time fuqkin pos
Were you intending to buy before you saw the sticker or just commenting on price for something you have zero actual interest in purchasing?
Daughter has a new Ranger.
2+2 seating
Bluetooth
AC
Cabin Heat

It is equipped as well as Momma's new to her Yukon Denali. It cost more too.
BRAINLESS!
I have a 2019 ranger 1000xp I bought new , just rolled over 600 miles, should do me for the next few years,

Guy that has ranch on north side of me came over to get newborn calf from me, I had to shoot cow with broken leg, pulled up in xpedition, same price as you say, I couldn’t believe it, doors are two inches thick, AC and Heat , all glass, road like a caddy, can’t remember what he said about motor, something special. And all you idiots that talk bad about Polaris , I have two Rangers, a General, two four wheelers, and have road them from Alaska to Mexico and never had any problems, take care of your stuff better.

New SxS prices are insane

Iffin I can fit a Toyota on the trail

That's what I'll be in

Utah currently is going to 66" trails on Forest
Fella down the road from me puts a 4x5 round roll on the bed of his and a 4x5 on the roof and thinks he’s bad ass

I will buy a Mahindra Roxor next, before I would spend anywhere that kind of money, Hunter had one with top exterior lights on top and winches, couldn’t have been over 12 to 15-K
2016 we bought a new 900XP with full cab, glass front and back, canvas plastic doors, heat, wiper, etc.. Nothing fancy but really nice for certain work situations. In 2016 it was right around $20k.

It would be around $30k now which is just fine IF the thing was worth it! We've had no trouble with our '16 but it also only has around 3000 miles on it. Plan on keeping the '16 forever, the newer ones are rumored to be overly fancy and chitty just like new pickups.
that's for the base model
Bought my '18 Teryx new in '18

It ain't fast or sexy

But it will get ya back to the trailer every time

Now with 5500 miles

Almost as reliable as a Toyota

They’re $23-$25k, now…
Paid $15k for my mule pro Mx in 2020 and I thought that wuz high
I've got a used 14 model Yamaha Viking bought it with 148 hours on it in something like 18 I have absolutely done zero repairs except tires. and now has 850 hours on it and it does not live an easy life not from trail riding and racing but from farm work mud and cow [bleep].
also have an 04 Polaris sportsman 400 four wheeler it has 650 hours on it and was bought with like 50 hours on it. back in like '06. it has had a new computer brain all new bushings carburetor. and I forget some other major stuff so can I recommend a Polaris probably not...

not exactly apples to oranges comparison I know but kind of makes me a bit leery of Polaris product. and this thing is also probably going to need a drive belt before long it seems to slip a little bit under heavy load and high
.

My grande daughter is driving one of these when she is not driving her grand cherokee.

No arguing with the state about whether or not it is road legal.

Yep, I have a Honda Talon for hauling ass in the mountains, and had Can Am too, road Honda’s and Yamaha growing up and later, but I have rolled Polaris down canyon, and straightened bars out and road it out, been in mud Boggs that would scare a moose in Alaska, and got out when others didn’t , driving Polars, they all have there good and bad. I pull some pretty heavy stuff with my Ranger four door.

I bought a brand new Honda Pioneer 1000-5 last year and I am glad I did. Exact same machine is now $4K more from same dealer. And they threw in the winch and installed it for free as part of my deal.

I've had 3 ranger northstar rangers in the last 6 years only thing I had to do to them was regular service work, a couple belts and 2 CV axles that were totally my fault and they don't get treated well on the ranch from deep mud to snow and chasing cows. Last one I bought last spring was a crew cab and paid 30,000 worth every penny for what I do with them
